Revision Seven
A place worth surviving.
Scavenge the ruins. Build somewhere to come home to. Survive alone, or bring a friend to watch the door.
A small game we’re making because we want to play it. In development, working toward closed alpha.
01 / The reason to stay
You came for wood, food, a door that shuts. Maybe a better gun. A good place to put the things you don’t want to lose.
The world has other plans. RVX-007 is a third-person survival sandbox about making a life between the woods, the ruins and the infected.
Out there / Exploration
Alpine trees. Mountain horizons. A quiet stretch of road, and a town with supplies you could use. Leave the base because you need something. Find a reason to push a little farther.

Start with what you can carry. Put up a shelter. Make room for supplies. Improve it between runs. A base isn’t a box to tick—it’s the place you decide is worth keeping.
Watch it take shapemedia/infected-night.webpReal in-game capture goes hereAfter dark / The infected
A light. A few rounds. A door behind you. Enough to make a plan. Not enough to stop it going wrong.
02 / In the field
Building, supply runs and plans going sideways. Short gameplay clips belong here—not a concept trailer standing in for the game.

The direction is simple: a world you can host and make your own. Not a game that only makes sense on an official server.
Solo survival and friend-hosted co-op are the foundation. Build together, split the supply run, and argue about who left the door open.
Dedicated server distribution is part of the plan, so communities can run their own worlds. Supported player counts are still being tested.
Runtime creation tools, BedderScript and shareable mods are the goal. None of it is in RVX yet. Steam Workshop is planned as a way to share them.
Planned / ArTchie-ABS
We’re also building ArTchie-ABS, our own creator toolkit. It hasn’t been released yet. The plan is to bring its runtime editor, BedderScript and .abspack workflow into RVX, so creators can change behaviour, not just rename a gun.
None of that is in RVX today. We’ll show it here when it actually works in the game.
See what we’re buildingIn-game modding is planned, not built. ArTchie-ABS isn’t released yet either. The game comes first. Workshop and platform support will be confirmed separately.
04 / From our own play sessions
RVX is the game we wanted to play, so we’re making it. It isn’t a AAA production and it isn’t pretending to be. It’s a small indie studio and a world we keep coming back to after a day of building it.
So we play it. We gather the wood, build the base, get into trouble, and find out what needs fixing. We take the game seriously. Ourselves, not so much.
One night, we didn’t gather enough for a roof. Then the aurora came out.
Suddenly, the missing roof was the best part of the base.
That’s the game we’re here to make.

We said it wasn’t AAA. Here’s the proof. Real screenshots from our own dev builds, bugs and broken cameras included. We kept them because they made us laugh.

Real screenshots from development builds, September 2026. Cropped and resized, nothing else. Not representative of the finished game. We hope.
Next up / Closed alpha
We’re working toward a closed alpha: a chance for more players to live in the world, break things, and help make it better. If something is broken, weird, or just not fun, we want to hear it. That’s the point. No release date is being promised yet.
Steam and community links will appear here when they’re live. This page is not taking alpha registrations.
Before you ask
No, and it isn’t trying to be. RVX-007 is a small indie project from people who wanted this game to exist. Expect rough edges, odd bugs, and the occasional moment that’s funnier than it should be. If you play it, tell us what works and what doesn’t. Feedback is genuinely needed and appreciated.
RVX-007 is in development and working toward closed alpha. A public release date and an open signup route have not been announced on this page.
No. The focus is solo play, co-op with friends and player-hosted worlds. Dedicated server distribution is planned for communities that want to run their own. Final supported player counts are not being promised yet.
Cross-platform play matters to us, including macOS. Platform support still needs release-build testing. We’ll publish the supported platforms and requirements when they’re verified, rather than turn an ambition into a compatibility claim.
No. In-game modding isn’t in RVX yet, and ArTchie-ABS, the toolkit it’ll be built on, hasn’t been released. Both are planned, along with Steam Workshop. We’ll say so here, build by build, as they actually land.
This download is a staging page with labeled placeholders. Those slots are reserved for real captures from development builds. No AI concept image or target render should be substituted for gameplay.
